Present Perfect Continuous Tense: Affirmative Sentences

"Present Perfect Continuous Tense" उपयोग उस क्रिया के लिए किया जाता है जो "अतीत" में शुरू हुई थी और "वर्तमान" में भी जारी है या चल रही है।

इस Tense में "Since" और "for" का उपयोग किया जाता है।

"Since का प्रयोग" - "Since" का प्रयोग निश्चित समय के लिए किया जाता है अर्थात जब हमें समय के बारे में स्पष्ट रूप से पता हो, जैसे: सुबह से, सोमवार से, मई से, पिछली रात से, पिछले महीने से, पिछले साल से, दोपहर से, 2019 से आदि।

"For का प्रयोग" - "For" का प्रयोग अनिश्चित समय के लिए किया जाता है अर्थात जब हमें समय के बारे में स्पष्ट रूप से यह ना पता हो कि काम कब शुरू हुआ। जैसे: दो साल, चार साल, पांच दिन, छह महीने आदि।

हिंदी में पहचान - इस
 Tense की हिंदी में पहचान यह है कि Sentence के अंत में रहा है, रहा हूं, रही है, रही हूं, रहे हैं, रही हैं आदि लगा होता है लेकिन साथ ही समय की बात भी की जाती है।

For Example:
1.    वह दो वर्ष से इस मकान में रह रहा है।
He has been living in this house for two years.
2.    धोबी सुबह से कपड़े धो रहा है।
The washerman has been washing the clothes since morning.

ऊपर दिए गए दोनों वाक्यों में समय का उल्लेख किया गया है। इसीलिए यह Tense "Present Continuous Tense" से भिन्न है क्योंकि "Present Continuous Tense" में समय का उल्लेख नहीं है।

अब यदि हम ऊपर दिए गए वाक्यों की बात करें तो पहला वाक्य Time (दो वर्ष से) की बात करता है। यहाँ हम "For" का उपयोग करते हैं क्योंकि हम नहीं जानते कि वह इस घर में कौन से दो वर्षों से रह रहा है?

इसी प्रकार दूसरे वाक्य में "Since" का प्रयोग हुआ है क्योंकि हम समय के बारे में स्पष्ट रूप से जानते हैं कि धोबी सुबह से कपड़े धो रहा है।

Structure: Subject + has/have + been + v1 + ing + Object + Since/For.

For Examples:
1.    बच्चे शाम से फुटबॉल खेल रहे हैं।
The children have been playing football since evening.
2.    हम दो घंटों से आपका इंतजार कर रहे हैं।
We have been waiting for you for two hours.
3.    मैं बहुत दिनों से एक अच्छे घर की तलाश कर रहा हूं।
I have been looking/searching for a good house for several days.
4.    नौकर दो घंटों से खाना बना रहा है?
The servant has been cooking the food for two hours.
5.    हम कल से अपना पाठ दोहरा रहे हैं।
We have been revising our lesson since yesterday.

Negative Sentences:

Structure: Subject + has/have + not + been + v1 + ing + Object + Since/For.

Present Perfect Continuous के Negative Sentences में "not" का प्रयोग "has/have" के बाद में और "been" से पहले होता है।

For Examples:
1.    हम सुबह से नदी में नहीं तैर रहे हैं।
We have not been swimming in the river since morning.
2.    लड़कियाँ दोपहर से शोर नहीं मचा रही हैं।
The girls have not been making a noise since afternoon.
3.    सुबह से बूंदा-बांदी नहीं हो रही है।
It has not been drizzling since morning.
4.    मोहन दो महीनों से हिंदी नहीं पढ़ रहा है।
Mohan has not been reading Hindi for two months.
5.    माली तीन घंटे से पौधों को पानी नहीं दे रहा है।
The Gardener has not been watering the plants for three hours.

Interrogative Sentences

Structure: Has/Have + Subject + been + v1 + ing + Object + Since/For?

Present Perfect Continuous ਦੇ Interrogative Sentences में "Has/Have" का प्रयोग Subject से पहले होता है और Subject के बाद में "been" लगाया जाता है।

For Examples:
1.    क्या बच्चा कल/पिछली रात से सो रहा है?
Has the child been sleeping since last night?
2.    क्या प्रधानमंत्री एक घंटे से भाषण दे रहे हैं?
Has the Prime Minister been delivering the speech for an hour?
3.    क्या सुबह से ठंडी हवा चल रही है?
Has the cool breeze been blowing since morning?
4.    क्या आप पांच साल से कारखाने में काम कर रहे हो?
Have you been working in the factory for five years?
5.    क्या वह दो महीनों से नौकरी की तलाश कर रहा है?
Has he been searching for a job for two months?
